The Cabro® name brand evolved from the "Bock Bier" brand and was introduced to the market in Xela (Quetzaltenango) Guatemala in 1895 by Cervecería Nacional.  In 1951 it was introduced in the Capital city and it became famously known as  La Cerveza Super Rubia  (Super Blond Beer).
